Alex has more than more than 15 years' experience in healthcare communications, particularly in media relations and corporate communications, having worked previously at the Royal College of Nursing, AstraZeneca and Huntsworth Health.
He has led several global PR accounts for large pharmaceutical companies, including running 24/7 EMEA-wide press offices and delivering global launch communications for new medicines. He has also worked on high profile issues in the UK, including multiple media stories relating to the Cancer Drugs Fund (CDF). His media strategies have seen drugs once due to be removed from the CDF retain their place on the Fund, following extensive media and patient group pressure.
Alex has experience in all aspects of healthcare public relations, campaigning and advocacy.
