Brendan Griffin served as Fine Gael TD for Kerry from 2016-2024 and Kerry South from 2011-2016. He brings significant experience of Government and policy making, having held the role of Minister of State at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport with special responsibility for Tourism and Sport 2017 – 2020. He also served as Deputy Government Chief from 2020 to 2022. During the 33rd Dáil he served as a key member of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Tourism, Culture, Arts, Sport and Media, as well as the Dáil Business Committee.
