Hugh is a former journalist with more than a decade of experience in the media, including eight years at the Daily Telegraph and two as a beat reporter in Cambridge. He has worked both as a frontline reporter and newsdesk editor and has a comprehensive understanding of how to build an impactful narrative. He is a shrewd communicator, excellent writer and has experience interviewing leaders at the highest level of business, politics and transport. He has an intimate knowledge of the workings of a multi-platformed global newsroom and has done interviews at a range of national broadcasters, including BBC News and Sky News.
Since joining Hanover he worked across a range of high profile clients, developing guiding narratives, handling crisis issues and managing media engagement.
