Ilija Trojanovic Senior Account Director

Ilija is Hanover Middle East’s sports lead and Senior Account Director. He has in-house PR experience working with the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy – organisers of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, where he was responsible for proactive and reactive media relations, crisis communications and reputation management, executive profiling, corporate responsibility and digital strategy as well as resetting its regional media strategy. He also has experience working with other regional mega projects like Guggenheim Abu Dhabi and SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, in addition to a stint with Qatar Foundation.

Before moving to PR, Ilija was a journalist with Beirut's English daily newspaper, The Daily Star.

Ilija holds a BBA from the American University in Beirut, an MA from Rome Business School in Corporate Communications, and is completing his MA in International Affairs (Strategic Studies) from King's College London.
