Ioana has nearly 15 years of experience in European and global public affairs across consultancy, industry and trade associations. Before joining Hanover, she spent over a decade in policy and government affairs roles at Bristol Myers Squibb, Baxter and EFPIA.
At Baxter, she led European government affairs and policy initiatives across multiple healthcare portfolios, representing the company in key industry associations and engaging with policymakers on strategic health policy priorities. At Bristol Myers Squibb, she developed global policy and advocacy strategies across the portfolio, building strategic partnerships with organisations including the WHO, OECD, patient organisations and other leading health stakeholders to advance shared policy objectives.
Throughout her career, Ioana has worked with governments, EU institutions, international organisations, patient groups and industry leaders to shape health policy, build multi-stakeholder coalitions and improve the policy environment for patient access to innovation.
