Kiran Makhija Associate Director

Kiran is a seasoned communications professional, with extensive experience across India, the Middle East, and Africa, currently serving as an Account Director at Hanover Middle East. Over her 12-year career, she has created and amplified many brands across industries including corporate, finance, real estate, and healthcare.

At Hanover, she leads the corporate and finance practice and drives a coherent communications strategy for companies’ growth narrative to key external stakeholders. A large part of her role includes client counsel, media relations, identifying and analyzing trends, and effectively leveraging senior spokespeople to drive visibility to maintain a leadership position within the industry.

In the UAE, Kiran was previously employed with Djembe Communications as their Africa lead and worked with Djembe’s flagship accounts. Prior to joining Djembe, she worked with Memac Ogilvy in capacity of a Senior Account Manager, leading their BFSI practice.

Kiran holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with specialisation in Accounts and Taxation. She also completed her two-year communications program from K.C.College in Mumbai with a focus on events and journalism.
