Mike Farrar is a former Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation and a former very senior manager in the NHS. As a Senior Advisor Mike provides Hanover's healthcare clients with analysis and strategic counsel on the NHS.
Mike was chief executive of the North West England SHA from May 2006 to April 2011. He was previously chief executive of West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire Strategic Health Authorities, and head of primary care at the Department of Health. He was CEO of the NHS Confederation between 2011 and 2013.
His time at senior levels in and around the health service gives Mike unparalleled experience and insight on the ever changing NHS landscape.
