Commenting on her new role, which will be her first agency job, Lis said: “Working in Westminster I’ve long admired Hanover and their approach to political and media communications. Career trajectory
Lis has a masters in history and international relations from the London School of Economics. She started out as a communications officer at the Institute of Economic Affairs, where she rose to become director of communications.
After six years at the right-wing think tank, she left to become a special adviser to Dominic Raab, the then-Brexit secretary, at the Department for Exiting the European Union. Lis also worked as a press officer for the Conservative Party during the 2019 general election. In 2020 she became one of Boris Johnson’s special advisers, based at 10 Downing Street.
