Are We Eco Unfriendly?
Britons are doing less to care for the environment than they did in 2019. YouGov studied attitudes towards environmentally friendly behaviours in 2019 and again in 2023 and found that in 10 out of the 12 categories, Brits are less likely to behave in ways that reduce harm to the environment.
Winging It
Alphabet-owned Wing and Apian have partnered to launch a service delivering medicines, laboratory samples, and medical supplies in parts of South Dublin and its suburbs, via autonomous drones. A survey by YouGov has found that almost half of Brits are not worried about their work becoming automated in their lifetime - this was true across all age groups. However, whilst 50% of 25-49 year olds are optimistic about finding new work in the event of their job being automated, only 36% of 18-24 year olds felt the same level of optimism.
