Too Good To Go Appoints Hanover

Hanover Communications, one of EMEA’s leading strategic communications consultancies, today announced the hire of Barbara Wynne as the new Managing Director of its Brussels office, effective from February 1st. This strategic appointment underscores Hanover's commitment to enhancing its presence and capabilities in the Brussels market.

Wynne brings over 20 years of experience in government relations and public policy within Brussels. Originally from Ireland, she has been instrumental in navigating regulatory landscapes and shaping opportunities for businesses amidst geopolitical developments. Her most recent role was as Head of Digital & Technology at FIPRA Public Affairs, following her time at Accenture where she served as Global Policy Lead for Government Relations.

In her new role at Hanover Communications, Wynne will report directly to Gavin Megaw, President and Managing Partner, and will join the global leadership board. She is tasked with strengthening and expanding Hanover's offerings in Brussels to ensure impactful results for clients. A key focus will be integrating Hanover’s policy communications, digital, strategy and insight services further into operations.

Gavin Megaw remarked on the appointment: "At Hanover, we take pride in supporting an exceptional roster of global clients who depend on us to navigate the complexities of the European political landscape, especially during times of heightened geopolitical risk. Barbara's talent and extensive background in public policy and geopolitical developments in Europe, and beyond, make her the right leader for our team. Her proven expertise in addressing these challenges and creating opportunities for businesses aligns seamlessly with our strategic objectives. We have a team of fantastic individuals in the Brussels market, and I am very pleased that Barbara has chosen Hanover to help drive further growth."

Barbara Wynne added: “Organisations’ public affairs needs have naturally evolved with the increasingly complex and dynamic political environment they face. In this context, I have been impressed with Hanover’s unique range of public affairs capabilities that can help clients respond to the challenge, from policy expertise to policy communications, strategy and insight, campaign management, as well as reputational risk management. I am therefore delighted to be joining Hanover, and its talented team, to help our clients effectively engage with stakeholders and achieve their public affairs objectives.”

Wynne’s appointment follows Claudia La Donna's departure after nine successful years with Hanover Communications. Hanover extends its thanks for her leadership over these years.
