Dame Tracey Crouch Joins Hanover as Managing Director, Sport

Hanover Communications, one of EMEA’s leading strategic communications consultancies, today announced the hire of former UK Sports Minister Dame Tracey Crouch to drive the global growth of its rapidly expanding sports offer.

Hanover has for many years advised the biggest names and brands within the sports sector, including the NFL, UFC, England and Wales Cricket Board, British Horseracing Authority, Football Association, Premier League, Sky Sports and many more. As Managing Director, Sport, Crouch will be responsible for building on the agency’s established expertise to help global sports leaders navigate an increasingly complex business environment. 

Crouch, the former Minister for Sport, Civil Society, and Loneliness, and Chair of the Fan Led Review into Football Governance will join Hanover in early September and work closely with Rebecca Hargreaves, Head of Sport at Hanover. Crouch will report to President and Managing Partner Gavin Megaw and joins as a full time member of staff. She will also become a member of Hanover’s Leadership Board, the agency’s most senior management team. 

The hire follows a review of long-term opportunities and strategic hires led by Megaw and Gary Cleland, Group Managing Director for Corporate, Digital and Strategy.
